This cup is an original piece of art, created by local artist Zane Ceplīte from an idea envisioned by me, Lāsma Liepiņa.

The cup is a reflection of the deep roots we all carry within us.

The brown, raw base symbolises our roots. They hold our ancestors, their knowledge, the wisdom passed down through generations, our inner knowing and our sense of grounding. They shape who we are and give us a foundation to grow from.

But while we all come from somewhere, what makes each of us unique is what we choose to create from those roots.

The beautiful, ever-changing glaze represents the nature of being human - constantly evolving, growing, changing, moving through our highs and lows, and becoming something new along the way.

Just like us, no two pieces are exactly the same.
